Reese S.

Co-Founder - Reese is the inspiration for Reese’s Heart.

At just 8 years old, Reese had a vision of bringing the community together to help those in need. Her heart was set specifically for helping those experiencing homelessness.

Reese has continued to inspire kids and adults alike to take action when they see a need.

Reese has been invited to speak about her work with those experiencing homelessness on a local news broadcast, various local events, and for her church.

In February of 2020, Reese was recognized with a Humanitarian Award, presented by the Nu Phi Chapter of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. as part of their Community Service Recognition Ceremony.

In addition to Reese’s Heart, Reese is a member of the National Junior Honor Society, volunteers with her church, and a non-profit organization dedicated to providing food and clean water to vulnerable children and families both locally and globally.

In addition to serving her community Reese loves to sing, perform, and make new friends.

Carson S.

Co-Founder - Carson is big sister to Reese, and is a student leader for Reese’s Heart.

Carson assists with donation intake, and prepares and leads volunteer serving events. She was inspired by her sister Reese’s vision to help those experiencing homelessness, and believes that even kids can make a huge difference in the world.

Carson is currently studying Mathematics and Cosmetic Science at Spelman College. She continues to volunteer and is active in many student organizations on campus.

Cameron Smedley

Co-Founder, Director, Vice President - Cameron hopes to spark empathy in a world that often feels short of it.

He has served as a civil servant with the federal government for nearly two decades, dedicating his career to public service and accountability.

For two years, Cameron served as a Co-Leader of the Undivided Justice Team, where he helped organize efforts to raise awareness around issues of racial injustice within the Cincinnati community. His work has consistently centered on justice, service, and creating space for meaningful dialogue.

Drawn to important and challenging conversations, Cameron enjoys exploring topics such as faith, politics, race, and democracy, and how these forces shape individuals and communities. An avid reader, he is rarely without a book and is always eager to share recommendations.

In 2022, Cameron released his first book, What A Difference A Day Makes, a reflective collection examining life’s transformative moments. In 2025, he began developing Repeat Repenter, a ministry growth concept and guidebook designed to inspire a deeper, fuller Christian life.

With a servant’s heart and a passion for helping others reach their greatest potential, Cameron seeks to leave a legacy rooted in faith, thoughtfulness, and hope.

One of his greatest sources of pride is seeing that same heart for service take shape in his children, who are eager to assist, lead, and carry the mission of Reese's Heart forward.
